MBTA Ferries

MBTA Harbor Loop (NEW)

With a June 29, 2026 launch, the MBTA’s new Harbor Loop route travels between Lovejoy Wharf (North Station), Central Wharf (Aquarium), Commonwealth Pier (Seaport), and Logan Airport.

MCCA Seaport Ferries

Ride the Seaport Ferry between Lovejoy Wharf (North Station), Fan Pier, and Pier 10 or between Fan Pier and Lewis Mall (East Boston).

Boston Harbor Islands

Take the Boston Harbor Islands Ferry to Spectacle, Georges, Peddocks, or Thompson Islands.

Public-Private Water Shuttles

Encore Boston Harbor Water Shuttle: A luxurious free ride between Long Wharf or Lovejoy Wharf and Encore Boston Harbor.

ICA Watershed Shuttle: ICA Water Shuttle service between the Watershed in East Boston and the ICA in the Seaport is included with the purchase of a general admission ticket to the ICA. Advance reservations are recommended.

Boston Harbor City Cruises operates two seasonal long-distance ferries from Boston to Salem and from Boston to Provincetown via Boston’s Provincetown/Cape Cod Fast Ferry.

Bay State Cruise Company operates the seasonal Provincetown Fast Ferry out of the Seaport.
